One Republican here, who was the only person of any leaning among his circle of friends to pass out Casey 2006 bumper stickers and campaign buttons, sent a form to his county office to register as a Democrat. With plenty of time to get to the county office, the form was placed in a squirrely university mail system from which it should emerge sometime around 2010.
