What I can't understand is why Obama is more supported among the intelligencia without having substance. I've met few optimistic intellectuals. Maybe I need to go hang out in the history department.

Maybe intellectuals aren't quite as intellectual as they'd like us to think. I'm still hoping for Gravel to make a late comeback.
