Korean Missile Crisis

Apparently the U.S. is taking lessons from the Soviets. Or North Korea is taking lessons from the U.S.

Either way, the DPRK thinks Seoul is our Havana. I make no comments about the truth of their claim, I just thought it was interesting.

  • I don't know if we really have nuclear weapons there, but if we don't, DAMN those North Koreans are clever bastards! I didn't suspect they were all that clever from what little I've seen, so maybe we do have nukes there. Do we really care that much about them having nukes? I thought they were China's problem. Maybe we don't have nukes there and they're just using that as a clever and convenient excuse to keep building their's. If only we hadn't declared them as part of the axis of evil and cut off talks, maybe none of this would be happening. Maybe they just shouldn't have been so evil though, then we wouldn't have felt the need to declare them as part of the axis.

  • I don't know why they got declared as part of the "axis of evil" either. They're really China and Japan's problem, not ours, or weren't until the past few years' peeing contest anyway. It would be like Brazil suddenly saying Ireland sucks.

  • Goddamn Brazilians! I knew they were good for nothing...might as well be Mexicans!

  • That was supposed to be "Goddamned." If the Brazilians don't like the Irish, then surely they must have been damned by God or the gods above.
