A Bitter Perspective

I decided for whom I will vote. His name Michael Tienken. You can find out more about him here. I'm just sick of politicians. I'm sick of Hillary half running. I'm sick of McCain with his straight talking bullshit somehow becoming an invertebrate in a matter of a couple years. I'm sick of only millionaires and billionaires backed by even richer corporations having a chance to win. So, I've made my choice.

Short of Mr. Tienken winning the primaries, I'm going to have to hope someone picks Santorum as their VP, so I can vote him in, wait for Santorum to become president, and then just sit around and wait for the revolution to begin.

If Tienken doesn't win the primaries though, I'm hoping for Biden as of right now, but only because he's by far the most amusing calling Barack Obama the first well-spoken and clean black man. Who else could pull that off?

On a more serious note, I like what I've read about Mike Gravel, but I've really only barely read anything. My opinion is totally premature.

As a side note, I find it repulsive that Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton have images of John Edwards wife on their website. It's really horrible trying to help your campaign by using another candidate's wife's cancer. I guess Gravel and Tienken aren't big enough to have to exploit other's cancer to try to win. Perhaps I'm being overly skeptical and Clinton and Obama are really just concerned for Mrs. Edwards, but somehow, I doubt it. If they really cared, they'd contact her in person or on the phone and not draw more attention to the poor woman. God damned politicians...that's what I suspect they are and that's what I hope they are. :-) Hopefully one or two candidates will emerge from all the refuse. I guess time will tell.

Speaking of refuse, on a final note, I really hope the non-hypocritical Newt Gingrich runs for president. He's such a fine example of what a human being should be...nothing like Bill Clinton. Maybe he could get Rush Limbaugh to be his vice presidential candidate.

Bush 'ministration sez:

"Waaaaaaah! Separation of powers is for pansies and n00bs!"

Or something like that.

Law of the Sea?

It seems that the captain of the USS Enterprise is thining about running for President. You know, the one who was on board when Jack Ryan came and that whole Russian submarine fiasco happened? Word is that, now that he's no longer in the Navy, he's putting his stint as a senator to good use as a district attorney.
